Dont worry aboput a thing. At your weight and size keep the battened jib. I am 13 stone and sail mine single handed all the time. I also have a spinnaker on it which is bigger thas the standard H16 kite. Its fantastic with 3 sails up. I can get mine back up on nmy own if its blowing hard but if its only a 3 then I need help.

Dont worry about con artisits. The 16 is a strong boat and theres not much to be conned on! Just buy one and have fun!
