At first i didn't like the kite but you've gotta give it a fair trial after a couple of sessions i loved the thing. it stops the boat being so pedestrian down wind and increases the excitment factor.
the con's are that in the windy stuff you've gotta have the balls to head up other wise it acts as extra weight on the bow that you just dont need in those conditions. it also makes it longer to rig the boat and increases maintainace costs a little, but if you've got the balls to do it its deffinately worth it.
