too tight?

to ensure it isn't too tight, make sure that the two parts
do not touch in the middle. If it is a Hobie mesh tramp, it
shouldn't stretch too much, so if the parts are touching
or overlapping in the middle, you are likely to lose a
sidebeam!
Remember, in big waves you have two crew members
compressing the beams whilst on the wire on top of
maxxed out tramp tension. a broken beam can lead to a
very sorry looking heap of fibreglass and aluminium!

dont be afraid to give it SOME welly, though!
