Thats a shame - i've wanted a hobie 16 for ages, but being an impoverished university student ;-) 1500 is about the maximum i can afford to pay. I only really want it for blasting around a lake, no serious racing etc. I dont mind if i have to do a bit of work on the boat - got kind of used to that with my low budget approach!!
