Have a look at the class at the moment and you'll find that all the events in this country are predominently sailed by youth competitors. If it were the case that a new youth boat was decided upon then the class would definately die. The fact that adults are already leaving the class seems to be due to newer boats such as the spitfire hitting the market. But if , for example, the Spitfire with skegs was chosen for the youth boat then it is my view that this would then split this class causing another problem. Cheers.
