on a more serious note from the sounds of it a spitfire would be too advanced for you.Especially in poole harbour where its very very shallow everywhere and has a tendancy to eat daggerboards. It really depends on what you want to spend. 15s are hard to find in this country as they are mainly school boats. they are also very limited in what they can do performance wise as they were designed as a teaching boat.a 16 however has good performance and is perfect for poole with its strong build, shallow draft and good reaching capabilities. Id recommend going for the LE race version as it is a better sail overal because the fittings are better quality and easier to use.there are plenty of 16s around and im sure you can pick up a bargin.
In poole you have two main options of rockley park where the hobie cat centre is or on the beach at sandbanks.there are two other clubs at parkstone and poole yc but ull have to be good with the sweettalk to be able to keep a hobie there.
