Buying a Hobie

Greetings All,

I have been bitten by the bug and want to buy a Hobie but need advice. My experience is quite limited having done only a weekends course on cats, and a reasonable amount of yatching some years ago. My course was in Poole at Sandbanks on their 15s, which were an absolute riot in the wind that day. Can anyone advise me on what to get. I am 6'2'', and 85kg, (13.5 stone), and intend to sail initially for fun but maybe racing if I become good enough. My preference is to sail two up, but on occasion there'll just be myself. Any ideas? 15'? 16'? - LE or SE?
Also I am looking to moor it somewhere in Poole as there is no space at home - any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation!
Andrew
