It's going to be pretty difficult to make one yourself. The tramp is under a lot of stress by the time it is fully laced up and adds considerably to the boats regidity.

If the damage isn't too severe and the tramp was in reasonable condition it might me possible to get it repaired.

Otherwise I'm afraid it's a new one, or you may be lucky to find a second hand one. Either way I would try the Hobie Centre at Poole. (See the links page)
