Fellow Sailors,
For those of you not fortunate enough to make it to Carnac (France) this year for the annual EuroCat sailing event... you missed a great regatta. Being in the smaller fleet (Hobie 16's) we were fortunate enough to get the better of the 2 race officers for the regatta. Over 2 days we had 6 great races, ranging from light breeze to a more solid Force 5 in the afternoon. The long distance race on Saturday was hard work but good fun with a double trapezing reach that lasted the good part of half an hour!
A great regatta and one I would recommend to all for 2003! |
