Depends what you want to do. If you want club racing in the UK, then a Spitfire is ok. If you want to mix with the bigger fleets in the UK, Europe and beyond then you want a Tiger.
Hobie 16 (not sure where this came in) does have a small fleet in the UK but not the world and is an RYA & ISAF class. The Hobie assn also runs training for Tigers, 16's and Dragoons on a reglar bases.
