| on a 1979 hb16 ,if the plyons and tramp frame and clamps have been glued to the hulls, is this a racing mod or is this a bodge up on a knackered boat? what dyu think? has anyone heard of this in racing circles? |

Quite a few of the Aussies epoxy their beams and pylons together to make a stiffer boat. On a boat this old though, I would suspect it has been done for other reasons than racing!
